I was recently approached by Louise of Solarium Point – a new, innovative & super trendy salon based in Ramsgate, Kent – who invited me over for a Gelish manicure!

Solarium Point opened it’s doors to it’s new, larger premises in January 2016 with it’s goal being to transcend and transform every aspect of the traditional salon formula – which they seem to have done perfectly.

Walking in to Solarium Point was like a breath of fresh air.

Owner Anna, along with partner Bernard, come from an architecture & interior design origin which explains the super chic interior that combines on trend rose gold with clean, geometric lines.

It’s amazing what reassurance you can get from a Salon by it’s interior & feng shui!

I love that the interior is feminine without shutting off scope to it’s male clientèle – which is something that I believe is hugely beneficial in this day & age!

I absolute love the Tracey Emin inspired neon ‘Beautiful’ light at reception…

Nail Specialist Kristina worked wonders on my nails, taking into consideration my personal needs & zoning in on helping to improve the condition & strength of my nails.

I chose a stunning Gelish colour – Number 16 @ Solarium – completely stepping out of my ‘Nude’/’Blacks’/’Reds’ comfort zones & embracing a colour that reminds me of Spring!

Nearly a week on my nails are still strong, chip free & shiny with my cuticles moisturised & rejuvenated – which is expected to last a further 2 weeks! Such a treat!
