It’s official. I have finally found the Holy Grail of all facial creams.

After months of hearing nothing but positive feedback about Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream, I purchased my very own from charlottetilbury.com.

First of all – the packaging – everything you’d expect from a luxury beauty brand. The packaging is stunning & elegant with beautiful attention to detail. The iconic blush pink & rose gold combination is girly yet sophisticated. I loved unpacking this order!

I purchased the 50ml size for £70 & was surprised at just how much product was there!

This cream features everything you could want from a daily moisturiser, & is adored backstage by models & celebrities & I can completely understand why!

Featuring Charlotte’s secret blend of patented ingredients, including BioNymph Peptide Complex, floral extracts & a hyaluronic acid booster to lift and flood the skin with moisture. The cream has a luxurious thick consistency, yet melts into the skin creating the perfect canvas for your makeup.

I have not been a huge fan of primers & tend to apply my foundation after moisturising either with a Clarins Day Cream or Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, yet Charlotte has created this amazing product that completely primes your skin to perfection enabled your make up to sit perfectly whilst moisturising our skin in a way that you’d expect a high end moisturiser to do.  The Flawless finish enables you to cheat an appearance of an 8 hour sleep, leaving you with a plump, glowing radiance.

Now for the science behind the magic…

It is known that there is a secret ingredient in this pot of magic – hence the name – but here is what we do know…

WHAT MAKES THE MAGIC

• Unique ‘multi-tasking’ anti-age BioNymph Peptide Complex stimulates collagen production while fighting free radicals

• Features SPF15 and an anti-UVA filter to protect the skin from the sun’s ageing effects

• Sodium Hyaluronate forms a film of hyaluronic acid, while Wild Pansy extracts help renew over the skin to seal-in moisture

• Rosehip and camellia oils plus antioxidant vitamin E transform grey complexions into hydrated, mirror-shine skin

• Plus a little bit of top secret magic!

I truly believe the magic lies in that secret detail not to mention the stunning (& paraben-free!) ingredients above. The only miniscule criticise would be the scent – it’s by no means offensive in smell but is a little musty…but let’s be honest – when you have a product like this the positives just continue to stack up!

So to sum up my review…I AM IN AWE!

I am so glad I took the leap in trying this product & I can confidently say I have now found my everyday, staple Moisturiser/Primer. Thank me later!
