Lush Bath Bomb & Bubble Bar Haul & Review

Those that follow me on instagram will be well aware of just how much I love Lush!

I love nothing more than a huge Lush haul where I fill my black basket full of Bath Bombs & Bubble Bars.

I recently visited Lush’s Bluewater Store & stocked up on my favourites as well as some new treats that I just HAD to share with you.

Okay so first up…

Rose Jam Bubbleroon £3.95

Now this has to be one of my absolute FAVOURITE Lush Products. Clare from Lush’s twitter account replied to my recent tweet stating my declaration of love for this product & agreed that is was her favourite also. So we both ended up stocking up that very day!

As featured in my March Favourites post, this bubble bar is just gorgeous. The smell of Rose is just devine & don’t even get me started on the colour. I love that this product really delivers on the bubble front! It creates beautiful, pink bubbles that smell of sweet roses whilst leaving your skin feeling nourished & moisturised. You leave your bath feeling bright & well looked after – what more could you want?!

The Comforter Bubble Bar £4.9517883988_594845144055710_5995989841538167593_n

This gorgeous Bubble Bar features everything I would want for my bath – pink, tons of bubbles & lovely smells! Sometimes you just need to shut yourself off from the outside world under a blanket of fruity foam & that is exactly what The Comforter offers. This bar is supersized, so you’ll only need to crumble half a bar under your tap to make enough bubbles for a long, comforting soak – although I always chuck the whole thing in because – well, why not! The blackcurrant fragrance is really soothing & refreshing, while bergamot adds an uplifting note. A must have for any bubble lover!

Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt £3.9517862652_595450697328488_6602562277633944175_n.jpg

Oh my gosh!

Now when I saw that this had been released I hunted high & low for it as I love the gold Sunnyside bubble bar & all things Gold & sparkly – & who doesn’t love a bit of glitter?

I remember heading to London & being convinced that I’d be able to pick one up in one of the larger stores – but nope. I came away empty handed & broken hearted!

I finally managed to get my hands on one in the Canterbury store & safe to say – I stocked up on a few. As much as he’ll hate me for mentioning this – (he’s as ‘manly’ & as masculine as they come!) – I knew my Charlie wanted to try this gem out too! I have converted him to love Bath Bombs & all things Lush just as much as myself! Shhhhh!17903508_595450690661822_5010611407447637405_n.jpg

Now I was really taken aback at just how much glitter was in this product & yet despite how much comes off on your hands when holding it – it doesn’t stick to your skin post bath which is fabulous. The smell is gorgeous as ever giving off a wild orange & cocoa inspired aroma.

It is a real shimmeringly sensual experience that EVERYONE deserves to indulge in after a busy day.

It leaves skin feeling nourished thanks to it’s super-softening formula of luxurious butters, oils & lustre – a new favourite that I’m so glad I finally got my hands on!

Sakura Bath Bomb £3.50

Another bathtime staple! I adore this Bath Bomb – the colours & smells are beautiful! 17796741_591393174400907_1918925061535167478_nDescribed by Lush as ‘a celebration of spring’ this product is exactly that!

With a lovely floral fragrance inspired by the cherry blossom in Japan, this pretty bomb is designed to ‘evoke the burst of optimism the first sign of spring brings’.

Featuring calming mimosa & jasmine oils complemented by lemon oil & orange flower, this bath bomb is uplifting & soothing all at once!

I highly recommend this gorgeous product!

Baa Baa Bubble Bar £3.9517903551_595747427298815_8220193267192541091_n.jpg

I was instantly drawn to this little cutie when I saw the main fragrance was Lavender. I absolutely LOVE Lavender & I find it so soothing & calming after a busy day at work & there is nothing better than including it in a hot bath to unwind & relax before bedtime! As described by Lush this little sheep really does ‘tuck you up’ in a blanket of comforting lavender, rose & ylang ylang – the perfect comforting combination of scents & oils preparing you for a lovely night sleep. The bubbles are super fluffy & include soya milk & clove bud oil with a hint of bergamot. This is a must for anyone needing to unwind & relax.

Chick ‘n’ Mix Bath Bomb £6.9517862629_595747327298825_94108972218967140_n

Whilst at the checkout at Lush one of the sales assistants pointed out this fun product which is very fitting for easter! It comes in 3 parts with the idea that you use one piece at a time but in true Hayley style I used them all at once for maximum effect. The sales assistant confessed this was also her tactic to a fabulous bath as well – living on the wild side! This bath bomb is sweet & zingy combined with comforting tonka absolute & refreshing bergamot oil to ‘add a little spring to your hop, skip or jump’. A cute little treat – the perfect gift for those not wanting any Chocolate eggs this Easter!

Over & Over Bath Bomb £4.2517861466_595747397298818_7638640524538735765_n

Charlie chose this one & was intrigued by it’s wax texture on one side – not your usual bath bomb exterior! It is coated in cocoa butter & inside is the lime & fennel oil bomb which proves to be super uplifting. A ‘vibrant citrus firework’ of pinks, oranges & golds unfurl into your bath giving you a real bright treat. I was a fan of this one as it really is uplifting!

Which Came First? Bath Bomb £6.95

This bath bomb caught my eye with it’s funky colours & spotty print! It features a surprise inside in the form of a little yellow chick! Super cute! Tap it on the side of the bath as you would a regular egg & put all the contents into the bath to reveal gorgeous fruit-salad coloured bubbles! This bath bomb features Sicilian Lemon & Grapefruit Oil for an uplifting & refreshing soak!

I hope you enjoyed an insight into this latest Lush Haul. I can’t wait to see what will come out of the Lush Kitchen this Summer. I’m sure another haul will be happening within the next couple of months – because lets face it – I can’t stay away!

Happy Bubble Baths!

With Love,

Hayley x
